The Osun State University (UNIOSUN) administration has announced the commencement date for the rain (2nd) semester of the 2021/2022 academic session.

In order to give students time to finish their entrepreneurial programme, the Management of Osun State University decided to postpone the 2021/2022 Rain Semester exams from Monday, August 1, 2022 to Monday, August 15, 2022.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Ayo Clement Adebooye mentioned the postponement and said that it was necessary for the students to finish their entrepreneurship programme and wrap up the activities of the student association because the university is dedicated to building a distinctive institution that is dedicated to the pursuit of academic innovation, skill-based training, and a tradition of excellence in Teaching, Research, and Community service. The exam will now start on Monday, August 15, 2022.
“We feel that the shift will provide students with an additional opportunity to learn, practise some newly acquired skills, and finish the events of the students’ association week.”
“All parents and guardians are hereby urged to take advantage of this window of opportunity to ensure that their children/wards complete their registration for examination on or before midnight on Friday, August 12th, 2022, as the University portal for registration will close at that time.”
