Toronto Maple Leafs have acquired Ryan O’Reilly and Noel Acciari in a three-team deal

TORONTO — In a three-team deal with the Minnesota Wild, the Toronto Maple Leafs acquired forwards Ryan O’Reilly and Noel Acciari from the St. Louis Blues on Friday night.

St. Louis received forwards Mikhail Abramov and Adam Gaudette, a first-round pick in 2023, a third-round pick in 2023 from Ottawa, and a second-round pick from Toronto in 2024.

Minnesota obtained Toronto’s fourth-round pick in 2025. As part of the transaction, the Blues will keep 50 percent of O’Reilly’s contract, while the Wild will assume 25 percent.

In 40 appearances for St. Louis this season, 32-year-old O’Reilly recorded 12 goals and seven assists. He received the Conn Smythe Award after guiding the Blues to the 2019 Stanley Cup championship. O’Reilly also won the Selke Award in 2018-19 as the NHL’s best defensive forward.

The 31-year-old Acciari had 10 goals and eight assists for St. Louis in 54 games this season.
