TNS, a South African musician, survives a “hit” on New Year’s Eve

In what could be considered a success, South African musician TNS is counting his blessings after a bullet injured his automobile.

Nkazimulo Ngema, known for hits such as Club Controller and Banomoya, took to social media on New Year’s Eve to relate his near-death experience.

TNS was traveling home just minutes before the 2023 New Year’s Eve transition when the tragedy occurred.

“Yesterday when driving home, I assumed I was struck by a rock, but this morning I realized it was a gunshot.” This God to whom I pray is too great; we praise God for 2023 [though we live in fear]”, read the post by TNS.

As we stepped into the New Year, TNS expressed gratitude to his supporters for their support. In addition, he implored his followers to continue supporting his music and performances in 2023.

In addition, he warned motorists, particularly artists, to drive sober in the new year and to avoid accidents.

“Find a different driver to carry you if you consume alcohol,” he said in an online post.

Additionally, a drunk driver was arrested for causing a fatal collision.

In a related incident, two individuals in moderate condition were sent to a hospital in Durban Friday night following a shooting at the Kings Park Rugby Stadium.

We can report at this moment that two males have been shot and are in critical condition.
