New legal documents obtained by “The Blast” show the former couple have come to an agreement regarding the dissolution of their marriage. The 62-year-old actor and Gratiela Brancusi’s union was officially ended last year after their separation in July 2020, and they have been living separately since.
There was a secrecy provision in the divorce agreement, so the division of the couple’s assets won’t be made public.
According to the declaration, the pair acknowledged that “irreconcilable disagreements have developed between the parties, which have resulted in the marriage’s irreparable disintegration and render it impossible for the parties to live together as husband and wife.”
“(They) accept that at this moment, the restoration or reestablishment of their married connection is not possible.”
Fans were shocked when Robbins announced his divorce with the “1883” star in January 2021, despite the fact that they had been romantically connected since since the “Mystic River” actor was escorted by the actress to the HBO premiere of his program “Here and Now” in 2018.
He did, however, state in court papers that they were married on 1 February 2017 and divorced on 1 July 2020.
The “Shawshank Redemption” actor was previously in a relationship with Susan Sarandon for 23 years after they met on the set of “Bill Durham,” the mother of his kids Jack, 33, and Miles, 30. However, they parted ways in December 2009.
Over the last several years, Robbins and Brancusi have been sighted out and about with his children numerous times, notably in December 2019 when they were joined at a hockey game by his younger son, Eva Amurri Martino, whose father is Franco Amurri, and the actress’s daughters Marlowe and Major.
