Britney Spears has broken her silence in the wake of her “meltdown” at a Los Angeles restaurant on Friday by posting a bizarre and somewhat defiant Instagram meme.
“They told me I couldn’t, so I did it!” The singer of “Toxic” uploaded an image depicting a woman in sunglasses with her legs crossed.
The tweet was published a day after a casual night out with husband Sam Asghari in Los Angeles ended in a weird Britney-style meltdown.

TMZ reported that witnesses stated the 41-year-old pop icon began ranting and “talking gibberish” at JOEY on Friday evening, prompting Asghari to storm out of the Woodland Hills eatery.
In the video, Spears can be seen sitting alone and mumbling to herself before leaving with her security.
The latest Instagram post follows a spate of unusual social media updates from Spears.
According to reports, her husband Sam Asghari stormed out of the restaurant in response to her outburst.
In recent months, the “Baby One More Time” singer has posted a number of near-naked photos and videos to Instagram, including a footage of herself bathing and exposing flesh on the beach and in a bathtub.
Spears has also uploaded videos and photographs of her engaging in odd dances, flicking off the camera, and devouring a cake that had been dropped on the floor.
