The Duchess of Sussex reboots her blog

Meghan Markle may be staging a comeback for her old lifestyle blog, “The Tig”. The Duchess of Sussex shut down the website in 2017 following her engagement to Prince Harry.

However, according to a document filed with the US Trademark and Patent Office, a rebooted version of the website could be on the horizon.

The content of the blog would cover a range of topics, including food, cooking, recipes, travel, relationships, fashion, style, interior design, lifestyle, the arts, culture, design, conscious living, health, and wellness.

While a relaunch date has not been announced, reports suggest it could happen as early as next week.

It was previously reported that the royal family did not disapprove of Markle’s writing and that the closure of “The Tig” was due to the Duchess wanting to focus on her acting career and philanthropy.

Markle, who starred in “Suits” as paralegal Rachel Zane for seven seasons, left the series in 2018 after marrying Prince Harry.

“The Tig” was founded in 2014 and is named after Markle’s favorite red wine, Tignanello.

In a 2014 interview, Markle explained the inspiration behind her blog, saying, “I have always loved food and travel, especially with my mom being a travel agent. We would go to off-the-beaten-path places.”

In 2017, Markle penned a farewell note on the blog, officially closing that chapter of her life.

However, recent reports suggest that a new version of “The Tig” could be just around the corner.

It is not yet clear whether the relaunched site will feature Markle’s own writing, or whether it will be run by a team of contributors.
