Texas teen shoots two intruders

A 17-year-old was at a property in Channelview, Texas, when three masked, armed guys forced their way inside. Saturday, authorities reported that the teen then seized a shotgun and fired at the males, striking and killing two of them.

Ed Gonzalez, the sheriff of Harris County, stated that a second 17-year-old, a 12-year-old, and an adult female were also in the residence during the event that occurred on Friday night.

Two men were pronounced dead at the site, while a third man left in a dark-colored four-door vehicle, according to investigators. According to police, nobody else was hurt.

The matter will be brought to a grand jury, according to Gonzalez.

Channelview, a Houston suburb, is home to approximately 45,000 people. According to research from the Rand Corporation, Texas placed first in gun ownership last year. In 2021, the state issued more than one million gun licenses, and 45.7% of adults report living in houses with firearms.

A homeowner in Houston shot and killed an alleged house invader earlier this year, while a guy shot and killed a man who reportedly broke into his mother’s home in Houston.
