Swansea’s head coach hopes for a win against in-form Millwall at The Den

Swansea City are set to play their penultimate game before the international break against in-form Millwall tonight.

The Championship fixture will take place at The Den, and here’s everything you need to know about the match.

The game will kick off at 7:45 pm on Tuesday, March 14, and will be broadcasted live on Sky Sports Football via the red button from 7:40 pm. The game will also be shown on SwansTV.

For those who prefer live match updates, they can follow WalesOnline’s blog, which will be available on our Swansea City page from 5 pm.

Millwall will be without Billy Mitchell and Mason Bennett, while Tyler Burey remains sidelined with a hip problem.

Callum Styles, the Hungary international on loan from Barnsley, is also unavailable due to a quad injury.

On the other hand, Swansea City looks set to be without midfielder Joe Allen, who missed the loss to Middlesbrough due to a muscle injury.

However, they are hopeful that Ollie Cooper will be available to feature after sustaining a knock during the 3-1 defeat to Boro, which caused his withdrawal at half-time. Goalkeeper Steven Benda remains sidelined.

Swansea City head coach Russell Martin is hopeful for a win before the break to help build momentum ahead of the derby game and for everyone to feel positive and build confidence.

He likes what he’s seen from the lads mentality-wise in the last two games, with a bit of zip back, some energy, and confidence.

They need to show the same attitude and willingness to fight for each other that they’ve shown in the last two games and try to find a way to win against Millwall.

Martin believes that they have to do it again, like what they did last year.

The match will be officiated by David Webb in South East London, with Robert Merchant and Akil Howson assisting him. James Linington will be the fourth official.
