Jimmy Kimmel and Nick Cannon continue to have a positive relationship despite Kimmel’s jokes about Cannon’s twelve children during his opening monologue at the 95th Academy Awards.
The 42-year-old “Masked Singer” host gave his feedback on the joke to TMZ, stating that he can “hear jokes all day long” and found it hilarious.
Cannon added that he is a creator of “Wild ‘n Out,” an improv comedy TV series, and is used to hearing jokes.
Although Cannon did not attend the Oscars, he expressed his admiration for Kimmel, calling him “my man.”
Cannon and model Alyssa Scott welcomed their daughter Halo Marie Cannon in December, after the loss of their son Zen the previous year.
Halo is Cannon’s twelfth child. Cannon shares son Legendary, daughter Onyx, and son Rise with Bre Tiesi, Lanisha Cole, and Brittany Bell, respectively.
Additionally, he shares son Golden and daughter Powerful with Bell, as well as two sets of twins — Monroe and Moroccan, 11, with Mariah Carey, and Zion and Zillion, 1, with Abby De La Rosa.
Cannon promoted a fake game show titled “Who’s Having My Baby?” last week to attract attention to the announcement of his and Kevin Hart’s newest project, “Celebrity Prank Wars,” which will premiere on E! on April 6.
Last month, he told Entertainment Tonight that “God decides” when he stops having kids. He stated that he is focused and has his hands full but did not rule out having more children when he is 85.
