Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) reported on Monday morning that they had discovered a middle-aged man who had allegedly attempted to hang himself on the N1 South at the Jean Road Bridge crossing in Centurion, Johannesburg.
According to the report, the man suffered severe injuries after falling from the bridge to the metal road barrier below. He was sent in a critical condition to a local hospital.
A police investigation has been initiated.
