South Florida trans woman booted out for using women’s bathroom

A transgender lady claims that after using the women’s restroom, someone grabbed and pushed her out of a Florida nightclub.

Because she is still legally a man, Piper Ayers claims bouncers removed her from Dixie Roadhouse in Cape Coral on Friday.

She begged security to let her use the women’s toilet, stating that she was in a crop top, skirt, and high heels.

She sobbed as she recounted her humiliation and said that the terrible event had made her feel “worthless.”

“This is who I am,” Ayers said to NBC2. You are ridiculed and made fun of. We made the decision to go down to Dixie and just have some fun.

I go to the restroom, and the next thing I know, someone is speaking to me.

Next thing I know, they have me by the throat and are pushing me out the front door.

She said, “I just felt useless,” while crying. Like I wasn’t a human or didn’t have emotions or sensations. Simply no respect.

Her companion TJ Jackson described how she fought the bouncers and fought to stop them from ejecting her.

I questioned one of the security officers, and he told me that guys are just not allowed to use the women’s facilities, the man said.

“So we went to the manager and he asked what does it say on your ID,” Ayers said to the broadcaster.

Her identity card still said that she was legally still a male since she had not altered her name or gender.

This is a lady, a trans woman, and you need to grasp what that is, said Sean, another clubgoer who had just met her.

“This is not a cross-dresser or a drag queen.” You should treat this transgender girl like a woman because she is one,” In spite of the protests, Ayers was expelled from the club.

Life as a transwoman has been challenging for Ayers, who said that discovering who she really is has been a long and challenging journey.

The nightclub in Southwest Florida has so far declined to respond to questions about the reported brawl.

If you are racist, sexist, homophobic, or simply a jerk, don’t come in, says a sign at the club’s entrance.

Despite being named the “best nightclub” in the area last year, Dixie’s Roadhouse has come under heavy fire over the Ayers incident.

One person, whose profile photo seems to show them wearing drag makeup, commented on a recent post encouraging people to vote for the club as one of the greatest places in Cape Coral, saying, “Sorry, no votes for transphobia.”

However, some patrons have complimented the club for supposedly preventing Ayers from accessing the ladies room.

Dixie Roadhouse, thank you for supporting and defending women, commented one lady whose profile has links to stories that are critical of drag queen story hours for children.
