The teacher in Virginia who was shot by her 6-year-old pupil had complained to officials about his conduct, saying she felt “uncomfortable” having him in her class.

On November 22, Abigail Zwerner sent an email to her supervisors detailing two events with the youngster, including one in which he shoved a pupil to the floor and another in which he put his middle finger up to a classmate.

Zwerner reportedly informed staff: “As of today, I do not feel comfortable with him returning to my classroom today,” according to records acquired by 13NewsNow.

She recommended calling the boy’s father to arrange a meeting to discuss “behavioral challenges” and provide “help” for the struggling pupil.

Less than two months later, on January 6, the youngster shot her, leaving her badly wounded.

Zwerner contacted a close friend an hour before the incident to let them know the youngster was carrying a pistol in his bag.

Zwerner voiced her concerns to Assistant Principal Ebony Parker and Principal Briana Foster Newton, both of whom abruptly left their positions after the event.
