Abdul Taylor-Kamara, a Sierra Leonean, recently shared his experience with two Nigerians who had recently relocated and were ardent supporters of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 general elections.

Known as the ‘Obidient,’ these individuals, primarily young people, were driven by concerns over insecurity, inflation, unemployment, and other issues in Nigeria.

Meeting the ‘Obidient’ Nigerians and Discussions

Abdul Taylor encountered the two Nigerians on a train in London and decided to assist them by paying their bills.

During their conversation, they discussed the ongoing presidential tribunal.

The Nigerians were amazed at Abdul’s level of ‘Obidientness,’ despite not being Nigerian themselves.

Abdul Taylor expressed joy after meeting with the Nigerians and mentioned that they blessed him for his hospitality when they reached their destination and disembarked from the train.

Narrating the Encounter:

Abdul Taylor took to Twitter to narrate the encounter, stating that he bumped into two Nigerians who had recently left Nigeria.

They approached him for directions, and since they were headed to the same destination, they began conversing.

The Nigerians were surprised at Abdul’s level of ‘Obidientness,’ despite him being from Sierra Leone.

Abdul further shared that he paid the bill during their interaction, which astonished the Nigerians as they had already mentally converted the amount into Nigerian Naira.

They then delved into discussions about the election petition, with Abdul mentioning that he keeps himself updated on the proceedings by taking his iPad to work.

Respecting the privacy of the Nigerians, Abdul decided not to post the pictures he took with them.

However, he expressed gratitude for the blessings they bestowed upon him and hoped that these blessings would manifest into financial prosperity.
