Showmax releases the official trailer for The Wife: Behind The Veil

On Wednesday, July 27, the official trailer for The Wife: Behind The Veil on Showmax was made available.

entitled “THE WIFE: BEHIND THE VEIL”

The Wife: Behind The Veil, an eight-part Showmax special that takes viewers behind the scenes on the popular melodrama, has released a trailer.

The Zulu brothers and the women who adore them will be covered in more detail for the fans.

Abdul Khoza (Nqoba) and Kwenzo Ngcobo won DStv Mzansi Viewers’ Choice Awards for The Wife, which set records on Showmax (Qhawe).

The telenovela is now nominated for ten SAFTAs. This comprises:

Best Telenovela, Supporting Actress, Best Actor (Bonko Khoza as Mqhele), and Best Supporting Actor (Abdul Khoza as Nqoba) (Zikhona Sodlaka as Mandisa).

The questions that kept The Wife at the top of the Twitter trends list every Thursday for two seasons are revisited in Behind The Veil with all your favorite characters.

The serial includes previously unseen material and comeback performances by actors like Siyabonga Shibe and Ntando Mncube (the Majola brothers).

The 5 am club won’t want to miss this spectacular.

On August 5th, you may see the first two episodes of The Wife: Behind The Veil.

Every Friday through August 26 will see the release of two new episodes.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE EPISODES 

Bonko and Mbalenhle Mavimbela (Hlomu) discuss the toxic love triangle in episode one. They also discuss the nation’s love-hate relationship with Mqhele.

The filmmakers and writers of The Wife discuss what “inspired by” really means in episode two.

They comment on the contentious adjustments they made to the cherished novels by Dudu Busani-Dube.

In episode three, actors Khanyi Mbau (Zandile) and Mondli Makhoba (Nkosana) discuss the love story of their respective characters.

Also considered were the lengths Nkosana and the Zulu brothers were prepared to go to free Zandile from prison.

The Zulu brothers recall their favorite action scenes in episode four. also the instances where the slaps actually connected.

In the fifth episode, Mbalenhle and Khanyi discuss their thoughts on marrying into the crime family of the Zulu brothers. also their differences and similarities.

Sixth episode: This one examines the soundtrack for the program.

This is from the title track by Anzo for Brendan Jury’s soundtrack, and I also caught up with Abdul to learn more about his other profession.

Khanyi and Mondli discuss their steamy sex scene in episode seven. The Film and Publication Board classed The Wife as 18LSDVN due to this sexual content.

Episode eight –  The Zulu brothers’ resident nkabi Sipho Ndlovu (Sambulo) will speak through their enemies.

The Majola brothers, the police commissioner, and Dlakadla will all be discussed, and Kwenzo and Gaisang K Noge (Naledi) will discuss their expectations for Season 3.
