The police have published dramatic footage of officers arresting a shirtless, tattooed man wearing thongs in connection with the killing of a Comanchero gang associate.

Monday around 1:00 p.m., 23-year-old Levi Johnston was allegedly attacked by a group of four men near the intersection of Pine Mountain and Creek roads in Carindale, in southern Brisbane.

A 34-year-old man from East Brisbane was arrested by dog squad officers just metres from where Mr. Johnson was fatally killed.

Three additional men accused of involvement in the alleged incident remain at large.

The clip, captured by body-worn cameras immediately after the killing, shows a male and two female officers approaching the man in a park close to the scene of the crime.

Before being arrested, the man (pictured on the right with police officers) is questioned in connection to a fatal stabbing.

The man, who was wearing shorts that reached his knees, is then observed speaking to the officers with his hands on his hips.

He then went quietly around the park, flanked by police officers.

Next, the man is seen sitting with his back against a chain-link fence, his hands to his ears, while police officers debate the situation and keep an eye on him.

After being handcuffed, he is assisted into a blue paper suit, which is designed to preserve any evidence on a suspect’s body. The man was then escorted to a police van and assisted into the vehicle.

Since then, he has been charged with one count of unauthorized possession of a weapon (revolver), possession of detachable magazines without a license, and possession of explosives without the requisite authorization.

Tuesday morning in Brisbane Magistrates Court, the man’s case was discussed, and he was remanded in custody until September 29.

Earlier, it was revealed that two mysterious backpacks may contain key clues to the ‘horrific’ stabbing death of Mr. Johnston.

Taskforce Maxima, a police team specializing in outlaw biker gangs, is intimately involved in the investigation.

Four men exited the assailants’ vehicles and began shattering the windows of the 23-year-vehicle old’s before he escaped by the passenger door.

Two men pursued him to a nearby residential street, where one of them allegedly repeatedly stabbed him.

Detective Superintendent Andrew Massingham stated that the attack, which occurred in public, was quite alarming.

On Monday, he stated at the crime scene, ‘These men were really motivated to track down this man.’

The motive for the killing is unknown, although police are reportedly examining if the victim was stabbed in connection with motorcycle gang activity.

A bystander reported that as many as fifty individuals were on the scene, and the gym was evacuated.

Someone else reported seeing police pursue a man up a hill away from the gym.

They stated, “Police were redirecting traffic.”

Numerous police and paramedics are on the site, along with a helicopter.

He said significant resources have been allocated to the case and he is hopeful of a ‘swift resolution’.

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward and for people to share any dashcam footage they may have with the police.
