Due to reports of a pair of predators on the prowl, residents in several areas of KZN have been placed on high alert. Despite hints as to where they could be, none of these enormous cats has been found.
Their attempt to escape is really concerning. The problem will be in collecting the lions securely despite the fact that rangers claim to have a general understanding of where they may be located. Sadly, they’ve already claimed a cow as a casualty while having fun.
This month, the lions ran away from Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park.
Last night, tracks were discovered on the grounds of Intibane Lodge and Sweet Home Bush Camp.
Having learned that a freshly-chewed-up cow was found in the area this morning, it is now believed that the two are somewhere close to Ulundi.
In the Babanango region of Ulundi, at least one lion, according to rangers, is now present.
