Second victim of the Revesby gangland killing in southwest Sydney named as Amy Hazouri

The second victim of a ‘unprecedented’ double shooting that has rewritten the’street rules’ of an underground gangland war has been identified as a hairdresser.

Colleagues have paid homage to Amy Hazouri, 39, after she was named as the ‘innocent party who was slain’ in the backseat of a vehicle on Saturday night in Revesby, southwest Sydney.

Ms Hazouri was perhaps collateral damage in a planned strike on her companion, 49-year-old Lameta Fadlallah, who died at the scene from her injuries, according to police. One of the women has been identified as mother Lameta FadlallahColleagues have paid tribute to 39-year-old Amy Hazouri after she was identified as the 'innocent party who was assassinated' in the backseat of a car in Revesby in southwest Sydney on Saturday night

Ms Fadlallah was a friend of numerous people known to the police.A car was found burnt out in the nearby suburb of Panania but police are still working to establish whether there is a link between the two incidentsThey found a 48-year-old woman with critical injuries. She could not be revived and died at the scene

However, investigators know even less about Ms Hazouri and are attempting to reach her bereaved next of kin in order to establish a link between her and the other passengers of the vehicle.

On Sunday, colleagues at her Bankstown salon tweeted a poignant tribute, saying they were’shattered’ to learn of her sudden demise.

‘We are heartbroken, our hearts are crushed, you left us much too soon,’ said the tribute.

‘May your memories last forever… till we meet again.’

Ms Hazouri was a well-known hairstylist who specialized in wedding styles.

The automobile also had two additional occupants: a 16-year-old girl and a 20-year-old guy. Neither was physically hurt, but the assault left them “very disturbed.”

The car’s 20-year-old driver allegedly fled the scene under a shower of gunshots, driving to neighboring Weston St to avoid the shooter.

Neighbors noticed him seem worried seconds later as he pulled over near the site and summoned an ambulance.

Police are still investigating how the four persons knew each other and what they were doing just before the assassination, although it is believed they were ‘casual acquaintances.’

The two surviving inmates are assisting authorities.

‘They’ve been traumatized… On Sunday, NSW Police Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty said, ‘They’ve just watched something quite horrible.’

‘This is a heinous assault on two ladies.’ They have been killed. It was a premeditated murder, more like an assassination, and it took place on a public street in Sydney.’

‘By any measure, that is unacceptable. It’s really unprecedented. And we’re committed to find out what’s going on for the family.’ According to Mr Doherty, the assaults violated a ‘unwritten code’ among organized criminals of ‘not touching ladies or family.’

‘There used to be an unspoken rule that you don’t touch families or ladies. That has been tossed out the window; they no longer care,’ he remarked.

‘They don’t care if you’re male or female. Every rule book has been thrown aside, which is troubling.’

Despite having all the symptoms of a gangland shooting, police said it was too early to tell if this was merely the latest in a long line of incidents.

Three burned-out autos were discovered in the neighboring suburbs and are currently being forensically examined.

‘This unique, heinous act must be judged on its own merits,’ Mr Doherty added.

‘This is a well-planned, deliberate murder.’ That worries us. We can’t escape the truth that this is extraordinary and unprecedented.’

A burned-out automobile was discovered in the adjacent district of Panania, although authorities are still investigating if there is a relation between the two occurrences.

Revesby is in the epicenter of Sydney’s ongoing gangland battle.

Several crime scenes have been set up around the region, with the Homicide Squad and local area command collaborating to investigate.
