Young people in the country are contributing to the growth of the economy and creating employment prospects with ease. Sydney Sebata, a businessman headquartered in Ga-Kgapane, Limpopo, is one such pioneer.
Sebata is the founder and chief executive officer of Versatile Pioneers, a 2014-founded firm specializing in business development, engineering, and information technology services.
Sebata explained why he founded the company, stating, “The purpose of establishing Versatile Pioneers was to establish a presence. I do not brag about my accomplishments, but the most important thing is to have an impression. My goal is not simply to invent or innovate, but also to transform the world. This drives me to become an inventive entrepreneur.
In an interview with Sunday World, Sebata stated that achieving success required tenacity and overcoming obstacles. This has been of tremendous use in providing information technology (IT) and engineering solutions to both public and commercial sector clients.
“We live in a new age when solutions necessitate the use of techniques from the Fourth Industrial Revolution. As a provider of technology solutions for my clients, I strive to play a significant role in this field.
“Versatile Pioneers is one of the businesses striving for greatness.”
The company has a presence in Limpopo, Gauteng, and North-West, and he admits that it was not simple, given that it was founded under challenging conditions.
“However, from the very beginning, we worked tirelessly to build our entity without financial assistance or handouts, using our own savings and those of our friends to establish the business,” he explained.
“One of the difficulties we experienced when we first began was that many clients we approached lacked confidence in us.
“We had no track record, but we were determined to demonstrate that we are a formidable force,” he said.
“We are proud to be a goal-oriented firm. Our work on diverse projects in a variety of operational domains is performed with diligence. Our desire is to receive acclaim, and we are beginning to see signs of progress as more work continues to come our way.
There are 10 permanent employees in the company. It also employs a small number of contract workers.
