While allegations claim corrupt activities occurred under Akpabio’s watch at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Ndume clarifies that they do not accuse Akpabio of misappropriating funds as governor or as minister.

Ndume explains that Akpabio was not the accounting officer of the NDDC but rather supervised the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs.
