Scaffolder dies in his mother’s and partner’s arms after a trampoline accident.

Several weeks after a strange trampoline accident in which he fell on his neck while doing a back flip, a scaffolder passed away in the arms of his mother and partner.

When Rob Harcourt, of Stockton-on-Tees, near Middlesbrough, fell off a trampoline at a friend’s home last month, he was left paralyzed and in need of 24-hour care.

His mother Jackie Graves later provided a devastating update, confirming that he had died in their arms while they were holding his lover Jade Higgins.

The 37-year-old needed a second surgery to “avoid any more harm” after suffering a “catastrophic” and permanent neck injury.

The 37-year-old was sent to a hospice last week after suffering a “catastrophic” and permanent neck injury (seen above with his partner Jade Higgins).

The scaffolder was last week moved to a hospice after receiving treatment in Intensive Care at the Middlesbrough-based James Cook University Hospital.

Rob, who was smart, witty, compassionate, and gorgeous, died in my arms and Jade’s arms, according to Ms. Graves.

Jimmy was holding his hand and was also present. Heartbroken doesn’t even begin to describe how we feel right now.

Since then, condolences have flooded social media, with many of Mr. Harcourt’s friends and family members voicing their heartbreak.

Following the accident, a GoFundMe campaign was created, and more than £9,000 has already been contributed by around 400 individuals.

Ms. Graves called her son a “great” guy in it.

Tributes have since been pouring in across social media with hundreds of Mr Harcourt's friends and family describing their devastation

Mr. Harcourt was a “popular gentleman” and a “wonderful friend,” according to Amanda Jones of Llangwyryfon, close to Aberystwyth, whose husband Alan was a friend of his.

Previously, Mrs. Jones stated: “Jade has been able to concentrate on what she has to do to get through each day because to the GoFundMe and everyone’s compassion.”

“[She] does not have to worry about how she will pay the rent or the electricity.” She now has some breathing space to concentrate on what she has to do to support herself, be there for Rob, and get through this.
