Grassley vows to keep probing Hunter Biden, root out political bias in the FBI

During a Sunday meeting with Iowa Republicans, Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley said that he would keep looking into Hunter Biden and that he intended to expose any “political prejudice” inside the FBI.

Grassley reportedly said, “I want you to know that I’m not going to let up on the Hunter Biden probe.” “Everyone in this room, as well as everyone outside of it, should have unwavering faith in the FBI.” We are unable to have it today.

Republican Rep. Ashley Hinson planned a gathering at the Linn County fairgrounds in Iowa, and Grassley was one of the GOP politicians who attended.

Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina, who will probably run for president in 2024, and Republican Gov. Kim Reynolds of the state accompanied him.

The veteran senator from Iowa is up for reelection and is expected to defeat Democrat Mike Franken.

Recent polling indicates that Democrats may be able to maintain their Senate majority, which is now divided 50-50 with Vice President Kamala Harris serving as the deciding vote, since some Republican candidates are faltering in crucial areas like Pennsylvania and Georgia.

If they get control of the House, the Republicans have also threatened to go into President Joe Biden’s son.

Grassley, who is now serving as the leading member of the influential Senate Judiciary Committee, said, “I want you to know, I’m not going to give up exposing political prejudice in the FBI.”

At the local level in Iowa, it’s not the FBI agents, Grassley said. The employees at central headquarters are to blame. We need [FBI Director Christopher] Wray to provide us with a detailed plan outlining how he intends to rid the FBI of its political bias,’ Grassley added.

The position was given to Wray by outgoing President Donald Trump.

Since the FBI’s August 8 raid on Trump’s home and club, Mar-a-Lago, to recover secret materials moved from the White House to the Florida resort, Republicans have been complaining about political prejudice at the FBI.

At the same time, Trump and his supporters have used Mark Zuckerberg’s admission that Facebook downplayed Hunter Biden laptop stories before to the election as evidence. Zuckerberg is also the CEO of Meta.

According to the FBI, it “regularly alerts U.S. private sector firms, including social media providers, of possible threat information” so they can “decide how to best protect against threats,” according to Fox Business.

Hunter Biden was not directly mentioned in the FBI’s warning to the social media juggernaut, according to a statement released by Meta on Friday.

Nothing about the Hunter Biden laptop story is brand-new, as we have said. Here are the things Mark said to Sen. Johnson in October 2020 and to Joe Rogan this past week. Hunter Biden wasn’t mentioned specifically in any FBI concerns about generic foreign involvement, according to the Meta statement.

On Monday, Trump said on Truth Social that if the Hunter Biden laptop story, which was first reported by the New York Post but later confirmed by DailyMail.com and other outlets, had gone viral, he would have won the election.

The president’s son’s laptop included many obscene images, including those of his sex life and drug usage, as well as records of his international business operations.

In the run-up to the 2020 presidential election, the Biden campaign attempted to dismiss the reports by claiming the laptop was another example of Russian election meddling.

Donald Trump, a former president, lashed out at the FBI for “burying the Hunter Biden laptop story before the election” on Monday. The FBI acknowledged informing Facebook about “possible threat information,” but according to Meta, Hunter Biden was not directly mentioned in the alert.

Following the newspaper’s story on the laptop’s contents, Twitter momentarily suspended the New York Post’s account.

Therefore, it is clear at this point that the FBI buried the Hunter Biden laptop story before to the election because they knew that, if they didn’t, “Trump had a certain advantage in the 2020 presidential race.

“Trump lamented on Truth Social on Monday, “This is major fraud and election interference at a level never seen in our country.

“REMEDY: Announce the legitimate winner or, and this would be the very minimum solution, proclaim the 2020 Election irretrievably tainted and call for a new Election, immediately!” Trump continued.

When FBI Director James Comey informed members of Congress that the investigation into Democrat Hillary Clinton’s private email server had been reopened only two weeks before election day, the former president probably profited politically in the 2016 election cycle.

The FBI was looking into the connections between the Trump campaign and Russia at the same time, but they didn’t make public their findings until after the Republican won the 2016 election.
