Wednesday night, Eunice Dwumfour, 30, was shot outside of her home in Sayreville, New Jersey. Her friends describe the incident as a “targeted and personal attack.”

She crashed her SUV while slumped over the steering wheel, and startled neighbors heard many gunshots followed by the sound of the collision.
The inquiry is being led by the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Sayreville Police Department, with the FBI now ‘engaged’ in the investigation.

Officials were observed investigating a forested area near her residence after witnesses claimed to have seen a guy flee in that way following the incident.
The police brought in police dogs to search the area after receiving a tip that the murder weapon had been dumped there.
A friend informed DailyMail.com that she and her family had recently returned from a church trip to Nigeria, characterizing her as “cheerful and pleasant.”

The mayor stated that she is certain that law enforcement will bring this inquiry to a speedy and fruitful end, and that she anticipates the identification, arrest, and successful conviction of the perpetrator.

According to his statement to WNYC, nothing is known about the incident’s motivation, which ‘does not appear to be tied to her position as an elected councilwoman in Sayreville.’
