Former Gogglebox star whose nephew was fatally stabbed expressed her disappointment that his killers have not been brought to justice.
Former Channel 4 show star Sandi Bogle expressed her “sickness” over the fact that Bjorn Brown’s killers have not been apprehended.
In March 2017, the 23-year-old victim was stabbed in Croydon, south London. Five days later, he passed away from his wounds.
In the last 20 years, there have been hundreds of unsolved manslaughter and murder cases in London.
According to Sky News, 350 murders that occurred in the nation’s capital over the past 20 years and account for 13% of all murder and manslaughter cases remain unsolved.
This covers victims who were shot, strangled, drowned, or stabbed.

At one of his performances, Mr. Brown’s boyhood friend Stormzy observed a moment of silence.

She told Sky News, “It sickens me to think that someone might walk past me and they know who did it.”

2,876 killings were reported in the capital between 2002 and 2022.
98 of the 350 unsolved instances were shooting deaths, while 113 involved deaths by “sharp instrument.” 85% of the victims in unsolved homicides were men. A further 148 victims were black.
According to Ms. Bogle, her family is going through the same “heat break” as the relatives of the 350 victims of unsolved crimes.
She claimed she will never get over the pain and expressed concern that the people who killed her nephew’s killers might do the same to someone else.
The TV personality expressed her wish that the proper individuals are apprehended and noted that “God works in mysterious ways.”
The incidence of unsolved murders involving black victims, according to the Race Equality Foundation, “is not a random trend.”
Stormzy, Mr. Brown’s childhood pal, observed a moment of silence following his passing at one of his performances.
According to the charity’s chief executive Jabeer Butt, the Metropolitan Police continues to “fail black victims.”
He also demanded that the Met give its racism action plan top priority.
Investigations are “lengthy and difficult,” said to Commander Paul Brogden, who oversees the Met’s homicide and specialized crime command.
He urged for information about Mr. Brown’s death and said that unsolved cases are subject to “frequent scrutiny.”

A call was issued in 2019 by Ms. Bogle celebrity to track down her nephew’s murderers.
New CCTV evidence, featuring Mr. Brown pedaling away from the incident, was released by the police at the same time as the stabbing.
It has been two years since Bjorn was brutally and suddenly killed; his life has been taken away, but his killers are still roaming the streets, said Mrs. Bogle, who in May 2017 pleaded with her nephew’s murderer to turn themselves in to police.

On March 29, 2017, at around 8.30 p.m., two male suspects were captured on camera riding behind Mr. Brown, who was on his bicycle, on Bensham Lane shortly after the intersection of Kelling Gardens.
The three then circle around and enter Kelling Gardens, where Mr. Brown is thought to have been stabbed.

The two suspects return to Bensham Lane a short while later after being pursued by Mr. Brown on his bike.
Mr. Brown is thought to have been trying to cycle to a nearby hospital when he fainted further up the road. A passerby who was driving by helped him and called an ambulance. Early on April 3, 2017, he passed away in a hospital.
It was determined by a post-mortem study that he had been stabbed to death.
For information that results in the identify, capture, and prosecution of the person or persons responsible for Mr. Brown’s killing, a £20,000 Crimestoppers reward is also being offered.
The first suspect is described as a black male who is around 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a hefty frame. He was dressed in dark pants and a “puffa”-style jacket.
