SA-proud! Man dances to Mandoza’s “Nkalakatha”

There are only a few things that unite us as South Africans, and music is one of the most special! A South African man went famous on TikTok after displaying his distinctive dance movements to the legendary song Nkalakatha by Mandoza. The video was uploaded on September 3 and has now received two million views.

Nkalakatha by Mandoza is one of the most iconic South African songs ever. It was released in 2000 and won Song of the Year at the South African Music Awards (SAMAs) in 2001. Even 22 years later, the song continues to excite South Africans on dance floors across the nation.

Rojhey Herselman sparked conversation in Mzansi after posting a TikTok video of himself dancing to Nkalakatha. Herselman performs the iconic dancing move “nwazgi” and adds an impromptu jump to his repertoire.

In just three days, the video has received two million views and more than 100,000 likes.
