After lady lap-dances on elderly, Taiwan nursing home apologises for ‘strippers and bingo’ party

A nursing facility in Taiwan was forced to issue an apology after inviting a half-naked stripper to perform for elderly people in wheelchairs during a harvest festival celebration.

At least 12 elderly people who are confined to wheelchairs were entertained by the dancer at the Taoyuan Veterans Home, a state-run institution in Taoyuan City for retired soldiers.

Video captures the stripper wiggling her bottom and forcing her breasts into the face of an elderly man while wearing dazzling red and black lingerie and high heels.

On what would have been a typical Wednesday afternoon playing bingo, the elderly resident is shown enjoying the unexpected turn of events and stroking the woman’s breasts.

As she lap-danced in front of the employees and retirees, who were clapping along with the music, the stripper was also seen spreading her legs.

The care facility’s staff said that since the epidemic had forced the cancellation of the two previous Mid-Autumn Festival festivities, they wanted to cheer up the home’s elderly inhabitants.

The care facility, however, was obliged to issue an apology when anger over the video surfaced online.

Three days before to the area’s annual harvest festival, on September 7, an event occurred that staff members claimed they ‘truly regret.

A nursing home official criticised the stripper’s conduct as being “very exuberant and angry,” saying that staff members would be “more careful” in the future when organising such events.

They said that the nursing facility also included a more leisurely game of bingo, which the retirees loved playing while sharing mooncakes.

Before the stripper was brought into the main hall, there was karaoke after that.

The event’s goal, according to the spokeswoman, was to amuse and cheer up the locals. We sincerely regret the offence that was brought about.

One of the most significant holidays in Asian culture is the Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Mooncake Festival. In China, the occasion is characterised by family gatherings, harvest thanksgivings, and good luck prayers.

The yearly celebration, also known as the Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival, was held this year on Saturday, September 10.

In China, people pray for a bountiful harvest in the next year. The mooncakes’ round form is symbolic of completion and unity in the local tradition.
