The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) College of Nursing Sciences in Gwagwalada, Abuja, is currently accepting applications for its Basic Nursing Programme for the 2022/2023 academic year. See the prerequisites and how to obtain the FCT School of Nursing application form.
Candidates with the required qualifications are invited to apply for admission to the FCT College of Nursing Sciences, Gwagwalada, Abuja, BASIC NURSING PROGRAM for the 2022/23 academic year.
The basic general nursing training is a general nursing course offered to young men and women who are at least 17 years old at the time of enrollment.
Admission Requirements for the FCT College of Nursing Sciences
WAEC, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB with a minimum of FIVE CREDIT passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in no more than two sittings. Candidates awaiting results are ineligible. NABTEB CANNOT BE COMBINED WITH ANYTHING BUT ANOTHER NABTEB RESULT.
How to Apply for an Admission Form to the FCT School of Nursing
The sale of forms commences on September 19, 2022 and concludes on September 30, 2022.
Only candidates who have paid a non-refundable fee of 5,200.00 (Five Thousand, Two Hundred Naira) may obtain payment forms.
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Pay a non-refundable fee of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) exclusively via the Remita platform (see instructions below) and Two Hundred Naira (N200.00) only to the FCT Nursing and Midwifery Committee Account No. 2034009628 at First Bank PLC.
Submit two (2) postage-stamped proofs of payment and collect application forms at the FCT School of Nursing in Gwagwalada.
Forms must be submitted to the Principal of the FCT College of Nursing Sciences, Gwagwalada.
The form must be submitted immediately following completion for Data Capturing.
The deadline for submitting completed forms for data capture is September 30, 2022.
The entrance examination will be administered from October 3 to 8, 2022. Individual exam information will be given through SMS to the candidate’s phone number specified on the form. Check https://fb.me/fctsonm on September 25, 2022, for additional information on the examination date.
The examination will consist of a computer-based test in English, mathematics, chemistry, physics, biology, and current events.
NOTE: ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE VIA REMITA AT A BANK OFFICE. The applicant must possess a working telephone number. Candidates who are pregnant or younger than 17 years old are urged not to obtain the forms.
