Russian model, 37, died after falling 80 feet from her flat during a’sex party’ in Phuket.

After discovering a clump of hair in her fingers, Thai police suspect a Russian model who died after falling from an apartment in Phuket was pushed.

After falling from an eighth-floor balcony at one of the Patong resort’s residential complexes, webcam performer Evgenia Smirnova, 37, sustained fatal brain injuries and a fractured leg.

Until long before her death, the Russian woman was believed to have run many social media profiles under various identities and to have regularly live-streamed on an adult site.

Authorities are currently conducting a forensic examination of the hair sample clutched in Smirnova’s palm in order to determine who she may have grasped as she fell.

Smirnova was born in the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod, but migrated to Moscow as an adult.

Her corpse was discovered in the early hours of Tuesday morning after she arrived in Phuket on Saturday, May 25.

According to the Bangkok Post, another Russian woman, Natalia Kosenkova, 35, was detained together with two men on suspicion of drug usage following the incident in the popular Patong nightlife zone.

Jamaal Antwaun Smith, 38, of the United States, and Ahmad Radi Mustafa Alatoom, 28, of Jordan, were detained.

Following Smirnova’s death, the Jordanian was apprehended while attempting to catch a flight out of Thailand.
