Romanian councillor appears naked for meeting as his camera turned on while having a shower

During a meeting in Romania, Social Democratic (PSD) councillor Alberto-Iosif Caraian appeared live from his shower, naked and wet, causing embarrassment and laughter from other members present.

As the chairman called for attendance, Mr Caraian was noticed battling to turn his camera off. He was urged by one member to turn off the video and apologized for the incident, explaining that he had a bad cold and didn’t know how to hang up.

After the incident, Mr Caraian reappeared on the meeting’s live stream fully dressed and apologized on his Facebook page, saying “Technology still plays tricks.

Unfortunately, haste has spoken! I apologize for the unfortunate incident… Apologies once again to everyone!” However, more technology issues followed, with Mr Caraian’s screen turning black at one point and failing to pick up after being called again.
