The “Red Notice” prequels and sequels might be shot concurrently.

Producer Beau Flynn has disclosed that production on the two sequels to the popular action comedy movie starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot is picking up steam on Netflix.

Flynn, who has collaborated with “The Rock” on a number of big-budget films, said to Collider: “We have a screenplay for “Red Notice 2” and are nearly at “Red Notice 3.” Ideally, if Hiram (Garcia) and I have our way, we’ll shoot those films back-to-back.

“However, the focus will be on the scripts and how we, Dwayne, Gal, and Ryan feel about them. However, that franchise is fun, and it is clear that Netflix truly wants it. Rawson (Marshall Thurber, director) is dedicated to the project.”

Flynn said that Rawson was developing fresh screenplays for the sequels and was ready to produce them.

The producer, 52, stated: “We had just finished talking to Rawson about how hard he is working. He’s really involved, and that’s his child. So he continued to toil.

“He’s going to give a fresh draft to us very soon,” I said. “We’re delighted to be able to start into it.”

The movie “Red Notice,” which was published on Netflix last year, had a spectacular run, becoming the most viewed film there within 28 days of its debut.

The 50-year-old Johnson has praised Netflix and called it the perfect partner for the film.

The former WWE athlete remarked: “At Seven Bucks Productions, we wanted to dismantle preconceived notions and turn “Red Notice” into a genuine worldwide event for the public. Netflix has shown that they are the ideal collaborators to achieve this objective.”
