Abia State University (ABSU) Notice to Graduands

On Saturday, January 27, 2023, the University Convocation arena will host the 29th Convocation ceremony of Abia State University for the conferment of degrees and the awarding of certificates and prizes. You are thus strongly encouraged to perform the steps outlined below to guarantee that the University’s Convocation Ceremony is recorded successfully.

The regalia and convocation brochure hire costs are as follows:

  1. Higher Degrees N20,000
  2. First Degrees N15,000

All payments must be made at the Abia State University Microfinance Bank, Uturu or other recognised banks as allowed by the University.

On Wednesday, January 25, 2023, distribution of these items will commence.

Before the entrance of the academic procession, all invited guests must be seated by 9.30 a.m.
