Recently, a heist at the Waterloo Spar in Waterloo, KZN, resulted in the shooting of a 37-year-old employee.
At the same time, heavily armed attackers raided the Spar, Tops, and KFC and took money from the employees.
The bottle shop also had alcohol that was stolen. After the supermarket manager was shot, customers fled for safety.
According to reports, several buyers ran away through a rear door while others huddled in frigid rooms.
Shoppers called Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) numerous times starting at 19:39 to report the robbery in progress.
When the available reaction officers arrived at the scene, they called for medical attention for the store manager who had been shot in the abdomen.
Witnesses said that while at least six of the suspects’ accomplices with high caliber weapons stayed in the parking area, about ten suspects entered the premises.

At the scene, a used 9mm cartridge was found. On Protea Place in Southridge, KZN, Spar shopping baskets and the license plates from a Toyota Quantum and a VW Polo were discovered.
An employee’s pregnancy-related anxiety episode was handled.
