Quick-thinking paramedic Katrisse Patterson, has told of how she came to the rescue of a motorcyclist who was catapulted from his bike after running into the back of the car

A paramedic who acted quickly described how she saved a motorcyclist who had been driven over after being thrown from his bike.

Dashcam video shows the motorcycle rider flying into the air and landing underneath the car after slamming into the rear of traffic.

Katrisse Patterson, a paramedic with NSW Ambulance, was driving close when she heard the significant crash on May 31 in Liverpool, in Sydney’s southwest.

Ms. Patterson remarked, “When I turned around, I noticed the biker on the road behind us.”

I quickly called for a backup road crew since I was concerned he might be seriously hurt. I then hopped out and went to check on him.

She claimed that while she was waiting for another ambulance, her passenger, who was in the car with her, also came out to help.

We had a nurse on board who stayed with our patient while we assessed the biker, according to Ms. Patterson.

We don’t frequently arrive on the scene right away and without being called.

Fortunately, although agonizing, the patient’s wounds weren’t life-threatening.

“When I watch the video, I’m shocked his injuries weren’t much worse,” the author said.

The rider rode straight into the back of the vehicle he was following after failing to brake when the cars in front suddenly slowed down, according to dashcam footage of the incident.

He was launched into the air and fell forcefully on the highway.

The cyclist appeared to be attempting to get up and leave the situation until a garbage truck that was following hit a stopped automobile, causing it to roll forward and run over the rider.

The shocked onlookers then started to exit their vehicles to inspect the rider’s condition.

Thousands of people watched the amazing video in a matter of hours after it was posted to the YouTube channel Dash Cam Owners of Australia.

Although the event took place more than a month ago, the channel claimed it held off on posting the video until it was certain the rider wasn’t gravely hurt.

According to a NSW Ambulance spokesman, the rider had minor injuries and was released from the hospital after spending two nights there.
