Motorcyclist falls off bike while attempting a risky stunt on a roundabout

Heart-stopping dashcam footage was captured when an “idiot” motorcyclist attempted a risky stunt on a roundabout and fell off his bike.

The incident occurred on a slip road approaching the Black Cat roundabout in Lincoln, East Midlands, on February 26. The biker tried to perform a wheelie, but he lost control of the bike as it rose upwards, causing him to fall into the road.

The rider narrowly avoided hitting nearby cars, quickly climbed back onto his bike, and sped away, swerving out of the way of another vehicle.

Rachel Smith, 49, captured the incident on her dashcam while driving along the A1 into Lincoln. She described the incident as happening too quickly, and at one point, she thought the bike would crash into her car.

The Black Cat roundabout is a well-lit and laned roundabout with traffic lights, and Rachel said she frequently drives through it. She was shocked that the rider attempted a wheelie on the roundabout, calling him an “idiot.”

According to Rachel, the rider was not wearing any motorbike gear, just jeans, a hoodie, and a helmet. As he got back on his bike, he nearly crashed into the car in front, creating a “You’ve Been Framed moment.”

She thought the rider must have hurt his bum when he fell off the bike.

Overall, this incident highlights the dangers of attempting dangerous stunts on the road and the importance of wearing proper motorbike gear. It also serves as a reminder to drivers to stay alert and be prepared for unexpected manoeuvres by other road users.
