Queensland drivers “tricked into getting nabbed by a speed camera”

Along with other motorists, a comedy team has claimed to have been deceived into speeding in front of a mobile speed camera.

Two pranksters deceived Queensland motorists with a series of placards that first warned of a speed camera approaching, then admitted it was a hoax… only seconds before a real speed camera emerged.

The social media-posting comedy duo Marty and Michael uploaded a film of the practical joke on their TikTok account.

However, it is unknown whether they are in on the joke and faked their reactions, enabling hundreds of other drivers to be caught out just for the purpose of creating a film.

On the major road, the pair passes a man holding a sign that reads, “Speed camera ahead!”

“That is the finest, thank you!” exclaims one of the comedians as the other two men applaud.

They then observe two further placards attached to a street light pole further down the road that read, “Joking.” Caused you to slow down.

The driver responds, “F**king a**holes, speeding up,” to their laughter at the practical joke.

He presses the accelerator to accelerate before he and his passenger see a mobile speed camera ahead.

‘Oh wait, hang on. Oh my God,’ exclaims the passenger.

As the driver approaches the camera, he slams on the brakes.

Just behind the camera, a second prankster holds a placard that reads “Sorry.”

Numerous individuals who commented on the video seemed to appreciate the prank.

“This is incredible,” one wrote.

“Emotional rollercoaster,” another participant added.

A third said, “The plot twist is that they are police officers who have not issued enough fines for the week.”
