An anti-air system is also being erected near Vladimir Putin’s official residence outside the capital, in response to obvious worries of a full-scale attack on the capital city by Ukraine.

A Pantsir-S1 defense system has been spotted atop the National Defense Management Centre (NTsUO) on Frunzenskaya Embankment, the command center for Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

A video depicted the same powerful device being hoisted onto a rooftop in Teterinsky Lane, Taganka area, 1.5 miles from the Kremlin.

And in another footage, a second Pantsir-S1 complex appeared near the country retreat of the Russian president in Novo-Ogarevo, presumably to shield him from Ukrainian drones or missiles.

One can see a Pantsir missile system being mounted atop a building in Moscow, Russia. The installations indicate that Kremlin leaders fear an attack on the capital.

The pro-Russian Telegram channel Military Informant admitted that this was an admission that Moscow, with a population of 12 million, is now vulnerable, with the deployment demonstrating that ‘the military fear a hypothetical strike.A Pantsir missile system is pictured getting installed on top of a building in Moscow, RussiaA Pantsir missile system is pictured getting installed on top of a building in Moscow, Russia

On Wednesday, images of the modern S-400 missile defense system appeared in two locations: one in fields belonging to the Timiryazev Agricultural Academy in the city’s northwest, and the other on Losiny island in a national park in the city’s northeast, where trees were cut down for the installation.

There are tales of such deployments at a half-dozen sites in Moscow, as Putin regularly strengthens the capital’s defenses.

According to Sirena Telegram channel, one deployment is near his country hideaway in Novo-Ogarevo, in the village of Zarechye.

A video allegedly depicted the deployment.

Putin and his young family, which includes former Olympic gymnast Alina Kabaeva, are rumored to reside in one of many underground bunker complexes.

The children have not been exposed to the Russian people, and Putin’s relationship with Kabaeva has never been established.

It is claimed that Ukraine is attempting to extend its missile and drone reach into Russia.

According to one claim, the Sokol-300 Punisher drone has a range of up to 2,050 miles and can strike targets deep within Russia.

It has a 300kg payload capacity and can transport guided missiles.

Alexander Kots, a Russian military correspondent, was requested to remark on the installation of air defense systems in many Moscow parks and on rooftops.

In many Telegram channels, pictures and videos are posted…Pictured: S-400 'Triumf' air defence systems  are seen at a location in Moscow. The system is designed to destroy aircraft, cruise and ballistic missiles, including medium-range missiles

I see a really encouraging sign in this.

It means that defense officials “clearly understand all risks” and are aware that attacks on Moscow and the surrounding area are only a matter of time.

It is fortunate that they began to prepare in advance and not after the initial attacks.

Military Informant, a pro-Russian Telegram channel, recognized that Moscow, with its 12 million inhabitants, is now vulnerable to attack.

Moscow-based S-400 “Triumf” air defense systems are depicted in this image. The system is meant to destroy aircraft, cruise and ballistic missiles, including missiles with a range of up to 500 kilometers.

Numerous explosions and fires at energy plants and retail centers may indicate that Ukraine has a sabotage capability, despite the fact that Kyiv has thus far only conducted limited aircraft attacks in Russia.

Putin’s spokesman refused to comment on Moscow’s air defenses today.

He stated that the defense ministry was responsible for explaining the installations.

He stated, “They are responsible for ensuring the security of the nation and the capital in particular.”

Viktor Litovkin, a retired colonel, told RTVI that effective air defense systems had been installed on the rooftops of Moscow’s largest buildings to protect against attacks by cruise missiles or Ukrainian drones.

‘You must take precautions during the special military operation since Ukraine has the ability to attack from great distances.’

This was evident from Ukraine’s strikes on aircraft, including the Engels-2, using reconfigured Soviet-era Tu-141 spy drones, he added.

They’ve been revamped and updated.

The United States contributed to the development of an on-board software system that allows drones to navigate to particular targets.

They supplied these drones with a combat charge, so no precautions are required.’

Out of concern that such attacks could encourage Russia to escalate the conflict further, Western nations that supply Ukraine have thus far resisted giving Kyiv weaponry with the capability of striking deep within Russian territory.

Consequently, the Ukraine is building its own long-range drones.

Putin’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, stated, “This could be extremely dangerous.”

It would entail escalating the battle to an entirely new level, which would be disastrous for global and pan-European security.

And yesterday, Moscow doubled down on a threat issued by Putin’s close supporter Dmitry Medvedev, who stated that Russia’s military defeat in Ukraine may spark a nuclear war with the West.

In response to his threat on Thursday, Moscow reaffirmed that his provocative words were consistent with Russia’s nuclear strategy.

As retribution for Ukraine’s fatal strikes, Russia is openly deploying its anti-aircraft systems around Moscow. This is a sign that Putin is taking precautions against prospective Ukrainian attacks.

Putin has now stationed Russia’s formidable S-400 anti-aircraft missiles at two locations in the capital out of concern that Ukraine may start assaults against the city.

Ahead of today’s conference in Germany, the former Russian president appeared to be advising NATO leaders to suspend the delivery of big new armaments to Kyiv.

Tomorrow, at the Ramstein base in Germany, the great military chiefs will discuss new tactics and strategy, as well as the delivery of new heavy weapons and strike systems to Ukraine, said Medvedev.

“And this is immediately after the Davos Forum, where underdeveloped [Western] political party members chanted like a mantra, ‘Russia must lose to achieve peace.’”

Medvedev, who as Russian president from 2008 to 2012 has his finger on the Kremlin’s nuclear trigger, stated that if Russia were to lose, it would result in a nuclear war.

Ukraine employed repurposed Soviet-era long-range drones to attack Engels-2 in the Saratov region on 5 December and again on 26 December, when the official death toll was placed at three.

At least two Tu-95 Bear strategic nuclear bombers were damaged in the initial raid.

Approximately 450 kilometers separate the base from the nearest location in Ukraine.

Putin has employed bombers from the Engels-2 to conduct conventional attacks against Ukraine.

On December 5, Ukraine also attacked an airbase 470 kilometers from the border in Ryazan. The bombings prompted Russia to issue warnings that Moscow was in danger from the “enemy.”

Moscow has not yet been struck despite the Russian aggressor’s many attacks on the Ukrainian capital of Kiev.

The Pantsir system is meant to defend government and industrial installations from airplanes, helicopters, precision munitions, cruise missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles.

In anticipation of an attack, it was claimed earlier this week that Putin had deployed Russia’s deadly S-400 defense missiles to two places in the city.

The S-400 “Triumf” is designed to destroy airborne, cruise, and ballistic missiles, including those with a range of up to 500 kilometers. Also effective against ground targets.

One S-400 air defense system, with a range of 384 kilometers, has been installed in lands belonging to the Russian State Agricultural University to the northwest of Moscow.

A second has been sent to the Losiny Ostrov National Park close to the Sokolniki neighborhood in the city’s northeast.

The S-400 is capable of simultaneously engaging up to 80 targets and is rumored to have a top speed of over 10,000 mph.

Residents said the deployments are new to Moscow and demonstrate Putin’s apprehensions regarding an attack on his largest metropolis.

Moscow has not yet been attacked despite Russia’s repeated attacks on the Ukrainian capital.
