Australia’s prime minister has indicated that negotiations are underway to send the Prince and Princess of Wales and their family on an official visit to Australia in 2019.
According to Anthony Albanese, a royal visit by William and Kate is possible, and it is hoped that they would bring their children George, Charlotte, and Louis, perhaps during the school vacations.
When the new King will make his first formal trip to Australia as head of state has not yet been discussed. Mr. Albanese told ITV, “There have been preliminary negotiations regarding the Prince and Princess of Wales’s visit to Australia.”
Of course, the Royal Family has always been welcome in Australia, and they would be again in the future.
