After his second retirement from the NFL and finalization of his divorce from Gisele Bündchen, Tom Brady is finally putting sports aside to focus on his family.
Brady said on Monday’s episode of his SiriusXM podcast “Let’s Go!”: “I look forward to exploring many other aspects of my life that have been put on hold for the time being.” “As time goes on, I’m sure I’ll feel different things, but for now, I’m doing great.”
The 45-year-old former quarterback said that he is “in a great place” and “excited for the future.”
“My friend says that the future unfolds one day at a time, and I believe that for every great chapter that closes, another great opportunity awaits,” he stated.
Additionally, Brady made fun of himself for retiring twice in one year.
“I’ve done it once before, so I need to figure out how to do this well,” he said, adding, “It’s all pretty new.”
The seven-time Super Bowl champion initially announced his retirement in February 2022, but returned to the field within weeks. He stated last week that he was leaving football “for good.”
Brady and Bündchen, both 42 years old, were married from 2009 until 2022 and have two children: Benjamin, 13, and Vivian, 10. The athlete also shares custody of his 15-year-old kid Jack with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.

Last September, sources told Page Six exclusively that Brady’s choice to briefly un-retire contributed to the end of his 13-year marriage.
“Gisele has always been the one caring for the children,” a source revealed at the time. “They had agreed that he would retire to devote more time to his family, but he changed his mind.”
Despite their differences, the supermodel wished the father of her children well in an Instagram remark after he announced his second retirement.
Both Brady and Bündchen co-parent their children and reside in Miami. She purchased a $11.5 million mansion adjacent to his residence. Additionally, they independently visited an upscale private school for Benjamin and Vivian to attend.
It is unclear whether the former Victoria’s Secret Angel and her jiu-jitsu coach Joaquim Valente are more than simply pals.
Currently, he is not formally dating anyone, according to the source. “His friends want to set him up, but he’s only interested in his children.”
And yet, Brady made news on Monday after posting a shirtless, underwear-clad photo of a thirst trap on Instagram. Perhaps he is simply expressing interest.
