Gisele Bündchen is loving every moment in her ideal environment.
The 42-year-old supermodel took to Instagram on Tuesday to give fans an inside glimpse at how she’s spending time in her native Brazil following her divorce from Tom Brady in October.
“Always so lovely to return home,” Bündchen captioned the image from Rio Grande do Sul, which she geotagged.
In one photograph, Bündchen can be seen smiling in a garden of hydrangeas, while others depict the “Lessons” author mingling with family members, including her parents.
Earlier this month, Bündchen told her fans that she was “recharging” in “my heart’s country” with her two children with Brady, Benjamin, 13, and Vivian, 10.
In the photo posted to Instagram at the time, Bündchen can be seen basking in the sun by the sea as she relaxes.
The year has been difficult for Bündchen, who formalized her divorce from Brady, 45, after 13 years of marriage, in October.
“Tom and I have amicably settled our divorce with great thanks for our time together,” she tweeted on social media at the time. “Our children, whom I adore with all my heart, have been and will be my top priority. We will continue co-parenting in order to provide them with the love, care, and attention that they so well deserve.”
Brady, who co-parents his 15-year-old son Jack with his ex-wife Bridget Moynahan, spoke honestly last week about navigating a new holiday “experience” this year, when his Buccaneers met the Cardinals in Arizona on Christmas Day.
“I’m going to learn how to deal with a brand-new situation I’ve never encountered before. And I believe that’s the point of life,” Brady stated on his SiriusXM podcast, “Let’s Go!”
“I’ll have to learn how to handle Christmas Eve in a hotel, as well as Christmas and Christmas night, while still being a professional, and I’ll look forward to celebrating Christmas with my children the following day. Which, you know, has been a part of football season for a very long time. Again, it is merely emotional factors that allow us to thrive.”
Christmas was rounded off with Brady’s 19-16 overtime victory over the Cardinals.
