Police have made a search appeal for a 16-year-old girl who vanished after being seen biking into a forest on surveillance footage

Police have made a search appeal for a 16-year-old girl who vanished after being seen biking into a forest on surveillance footage.

Skye was last seen entering the Sheffield Shirebrook Valley Nature Reserve at around 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26. She has been missing ever since.

She was captured on camera by South Yorkshire Police riding a red coat and a black and red mountain bike into the woods.

Skye appeared to be carrying a backpack over her shoulder and had long ginger hair.

The missing girl was last seen at roughly 2.30 pm on Tuesday, when she was thought to be sporting a converse sneaker, a green tracksuit bottom with a black stripe, and a grey Lilo & Stitch sweater.

A desperate search for Skye has been launched by South Yorkshire Police.
