Pheelz Proclaims Himself “One of the Greatest Musicians” in Nigeria

…Researched and contributed by Solomon Thomas.

Nigerian singer and producer, Pheelz, has referred to himself as one of the greatest musicians to come out of Nigeria, Africa and the world.

The Finesse singer made the bold statement as a guest on the F&S Uncensored podcast hosted by Feyikemi Akin-Bankole and Simi Badiru.

He stated that selective amnesia is the reason why many people fail to recognise his status as one of the greatest musicians of all time.

He added that he has produced a lot of classics.

Pheelz, who is also known as Phillip Kayode Moses, further claimed that he is one of the greatest producers in the history of Afrobeat.

He stated that he has upcoming collaborations with top Nigerian artists such as Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido, Phyno and Olamide.

During the podcast, Pheelz also revealed that he initially featured Omah Lay on his song, ‘Finesse,’ with BNXN, but later removed his part because it clashed with the release of Omah Lay’s song, ‘Attention,’ with Justin Bieber.

While some may view Pheelz’s statements as overly bold, it is not uncommon for artists to have high self-confidence and believe in their own talents.

It remains to be seen whether Pheelz’s self-proclamation will be validated by his continued success and critical acclaim in the music industry.
