A killer who murdered a pop star’s daughter and then went on the run after being granted a license has turned himself in.

Lisa Peters was the daughter of pop artist Lennie Peters, who rose to prominence in the 1970s as half of the duo Peters & Lee.

According to authorities, the game was released on a temporary licence from HMP Leyhill but failed to satisfy its requirements.

‘Wanted guy Terry Game, 50, has been detained,’ a police spokeswoman said Friday night.

‘He turned himself in to a police station in Cambridgeshire earlier today and is currently in prison,’ the statement said.

Game was sought after being released on a brief licence from HMP Leyhill and failing to satisfy the terms of that parole.’

When he murdered Lisa, Game was 33, and a court heard he had a “history of cruelty and violence against women he got acquainted with.”

Her 11-year-old son found her dead at the Martello Caravan Park in Walton-on-the-Naze in August 2005, while on vacation with her then-boyfriend and three children. A jury at Basildon Crown Court heard during a two-and-a-half-week trial that her lover Terry Game, 33, lied to police after she accused him of being worthless in bed. After she assaulted him, he feigned to strangle her in self-defense.

‘I discovered Terry Game was a bully to the lady he lived with, and in an outburst of violence, a loss of anger, he snatched her by the neck and physically strangled her in the early hours of August 3rd.

‘It must have been evident that she was battling for her life, yet he continued to do so out of hatred.’

He was sentenced to life in prison with a minimum of 15 years.

Lennie Peters and Dianne Lee were a popular British folk and pop combo during the 1970s and 1980s.
