Pernilla Sjoholm, a victim of a “Tinder Scam,” is now a mother of twins.
On January 1st, she gave birth to a son and daughter.
Sjoholm went into labor on December 31, and gave birth the next day.
“I lost a lot of blood and had preeclampsia,” the new mother wrote on Instagram about her “lengthy delivery.”
She said, “Our tiny hearts within me are now outside. I cannot imagine ever having lived without [them].”
Sjoholm, 35, announced her pregnancy to her Instagram fans in August 2022.
“We are so excited to share the news that we are expecting twins in December,” the then-expectant celebrity captioned a video of herself kissing her unnamed spouse.
“Mommy and Daddy’s hearts are overflowing with love!” She continued at the time in question. The beginning of a new chapter in our lives
The clip, which was accompanied to “It Takes Two” by Marvin Gaye and Kim Weston, also featured ultrasound appointments and bikini baby bump updates.
Later that same week, Sjoholm took another look at her expanding stomach and referred to herself as a “Swedish Meatball.”
She wrote, “I still can’t believe I’m carrying two babies.”
Sjoholm is best known as one of the “Tinder Swindler” victims, having appeared on the Netflix docuseries to discuss how she was scammed by a man she met on the dating app.
Shimon Hayut, posing as Simon Leviev, the son of a diamond trader, was the suspect. Since then, he has been found guilty of theft, fraud, and forgery.
In August of 2022, Sjoholm said on Instagram that she now considered herself “the queen of handling setbacks.”
She noted at the time, “Sometimes the bad things that occur in our lives put us directly on the path to the best things that will ever occur.” “I eagerly anticipate the next chapter.”
