A 16-year-old Pennsylvanian boy posted on Instagram to inform his friend that he had murdered a girl at his house in Bensalem and to beg for her assistance in burying the body.

Joshua Cooper has been charged as an adult in connection with the shooting death of a 13-year-old girl.

Friday, Bensalem police received a call regarding the homicide, with the caller saying that Cooper allegedly admitted to the murder in a social media video message.

During the conversation, Cooper allegedly stated that he had just murdered someone and then turned the camera around to show the young girls’ bloody legs and feet.

He then requested the teenage girl’s assistance in disposing of the body.

Officers rushed to Cooper’s trailer park residence, where they discovered the teen dead on the toilet floor with a gunshot wound to the chest.

According to police, the victim is not a Bensalem resident and is unrelated to Cooper.

When police arrived at the bloody crime scene, they observed that “significant steps” had been taken to clean it up.

Cooper fled from police upon their arrival, but cops quickly apprehended him and took him into custody.

He is accused of criminal homicide, possession of criminal instruments, and altering or falsifying physical evidence.

Charlie Petree told CBS3, “I heard a gunshot and I am familiar with gunshots.” “And as I exit and open the door, I see the youngster running across the street.” I spoke with the youngster a few times on this seat, and he appeared troubled.

Others were astonished by the incident.

Katlynn told CBS News, ‘I’ve lived in Bensalem intermittently my entire life, and I believe that was the first time I’ve ever seen the crime scene unit truck out like that.

Cooper reportedly told police, “It was an accident,” according to the probable cause document seen by the Courier Times.

Cooper informed police during his initial interview that he was clearing out his father’s safe and removing the firearms kept within.

According to the affidavit, he claimed to have accessed the safe by “replacing the batteries his father had removed, which rendered the combination lock unusable.” He stated that he was organizing ammo.

Before the shooting, Cooper and the victim spent the afternoon together and watched television.

Police in Bensalem did not identify the girl since she was a minor, but she was identified by her jewelry.

Cooper was denied bail and transferred to the Edison Juvenile Detention Center; a preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 7, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
