Parents are paid £50 Amazon vouchers to report football-heading children

Parents are being paid £50 Amazon gift cards in exchange for information on kids who head the ball while playing football.

From under-7s through under-11s, heading is not permitted in youth football due to concerns that it might harm young people’s developing brains.

Young players who use their heads in football games, even unintentionally, are handed indirect freekicks by officials.

Children may even be expelled if they purposefully utilize their intellect to thwart an objective.

Volunteers are needed by the Football Association to conduct research on the frequency of heading in young games.

Participants have a chance to win Amazon gift cards worth £50.

All youth groups are managed by volunteers, according to one mother.

“And parents make up 99 percent of the volunteers.”

Therefore, it will be up to the parents to do this study and tip off their children.

‘We are doing an internal research study to investigate the prevalence of heading in young football and the effect of the trial going place,’ England Football, a division of the FA, said.

A crucial component of the study is for participants to watch as many Under 7s to Under 12s football games as possible during the experiment.

For the study to be evaluated most effectively, “We need to increase the quantity of real in-game observations.”

Therefore, between now and November 20, we need a volunteer from each home team to watch and gather information during each of their upcoming home games.

‘Volunteers may join a prize draw to win a £50 Amazon voucher for every match that is watched and data given.’

Both Jack Charlton and Nobby Stiles, members of England’s 1966 World Cup-winning team, died away from brain disorders allegedly brought on by heading footballs.
