Orlando Pirates Football Club confirms midfielder Linda Mntambo has moved to Sekhukhune United

Orlando Pirates Football Club confirmed that midfielder Linda Mntambo has agreed terms with Sekhukhune United.

Mntambo, who joined the Club in 2018 after stints with Jomo Cosmos and Chippa United, went on to make 71 appearances for the Buccaneers in all competitions, scoring eight goals and assisting six.

The Buccaneers’ locker room will miss the 33-year-old for the great energy he brought to the team. Although he is leaving them as a player today, there is no question that he will return to his boyhood club to serve in a different role one day.

Meanwhile, orlandopiratesfc.com can confirm that Ntsikelelo Nyauza and the club parted ways amicably following a meeting on Wednesday.

Since joining the Bucs in 2013, the 32-year-old defender has served as the center of the team’s defense. With 192 matches under his belt, with 7 goals and 4 assists, “Ntsiki,” as he is affectionately called, was the second-most experienced player at the Club after Captain Happy Jele.

The Club would like to express its gratitude to Mntambo and Nyauza for their assistance and the professionalism they demonstrated while working with them. They also wish them both the best of luck in the future.
