Nurse’s outburst: “Tories don’t deserve NHS resuscitation”

By declaring live on national television that “If you voted Tory you don’t deserve to be resuscitated by the NHS,” a nurse incited outrage.

Miranda Hughes, a former NHS nurse, made the offensive remarks yesterday night during a live television discussion on Channel 5.

This outburst follows a self-described “Anti-Tory” During a prior outburst on BBC Question Time, Ms. Hughes also denounced Brexit as “absurd” and “embarrassing.”

She made her incendiary comments on the NHS last night during a live debate called “Britain on the Brink,” which was moderated by Jeremy Vine.

When pressed about the allegations, Ms. Hughes, who is now employed in the private sector, walked back her inflammatory statements and insisted: “No, of course I would, of course I would.”

Her first remarks, however, have caused outrage online, with some calling them “disgusting” and “bigoted.”

Others noted that in the 2019 election, more than 14 million voters cast Conservative ballots.

Ms. Hughes made the remarks when she was discussing her choice to leave the NHS and work in the commercial sector with the show’s presenter, Vine.

I was unable to manage the emotional strain of failing to fulfill my patients’ needs, the woman said.

To place the patient at the center of all you do is a requirement of being a nurse.

“You are under so much pressure that you are unable to handle people as you ought to.”

And it consumes you because, despite your compassion, you are trying to do a task with no resources.

And you are continually informed on the news that care facilities are being ring-fenced, but it’s a lie, she said, her voice rising with rage.

And I’m sorry, but you don’t deserve to be revived by the NHS if you voted for the Conservatives.

“I know that’s hard, I know that’s terrible, but as I look at these guys, it’s just gotten me so upset,” the speaker said.

When broadcaster Jeremy Vine questioned her about her words, she said, “No, of course I would, of course I would.”

But the manner we have been handled is shocking. All nurses have received face slaps.

Her remarks have now triggered an internet reaction, with others calling her opinions “bigoted.”

“But really. It crosses multiple boundaries to say that Tory supporters shouldn’t get resuscitation in a medical setting.

Former Breibert columnist David Atherton, who himself as a libertarian, tweeted: “Lefty nurse Miranda Hughes claimed on Channel 5’s “Britain on the Brink” last night that Tories “don’t deserve to be resuscitated.”

I erred in thinking that being a Tory hater meant never having kissed one.

Iain Gall, a Scottish Conservative councillor, tweeted in response to the video: “13,966,454 individuals, including myself, voted conservative in the 2019 general election.”

There’s no question that this moron has #bekind in her bio.

It follows a wave of criticism directed at Labour activists and MPs after they made anti-Tory comments.

Lucy Powell, a front-runner for Labour, was charged with inciting animosity earlier this year after appearing in a T-shirt declaring that she had “never kissed a Tory.”

After she was seen wearing the T-shirt during the Manchester Pride march, the party’s cultural spokesperson received a warning to “grow up.”

However, Labour supporters said that the controversy over the T-shirt, which has gained popularity in certain Left-wing circles, was an effort to divert attention away from the rising expense of living.

The shirt was described as “puerile, divisive, and entirely against the ethos of inclusivity that Pride is intended to symbolize” by Chris Clarkson, the Tory MP for Heywood and Middleton. Rise up.

This is the issue, said Hyndburn and Haslingden’s Sara Britcliffe. creating a situation of us vs them. Very offensive coming from a shadow minister.

“A political disagreement should not lead to hatred.”

Dehenna Davison, a Tory lawmaker who came out as bisexual last year, called the act stupid as well.

According to a source close to Mrs. Powell, “millions of families and pensioners are worried sick about how they will pay their energy bills this winter while the Conservatives are fixating over a T-shirt worn to a Pride event in Manchester this weekend — a T-shirt worn by Labour at all Prides for over a decade to much cheer from the crowds.”

Angela Rayner, the deputy leader of Labour, came under fire last year after calling Conservatives “scum” at a fringe meeting at the Brighton party conference.

We cannot get much worse than this group of slime, whom she described as being homophobic, racist, sexist, absolutely horrible, and an Etonian piece of scum from the banana republic.

After the assassination of Conservative MP Sir David Amess in October of last year, she subsequently ‘unreservedly’ apologized for the statements and claimed she had’reflected’ on the tone of political discourse and would no again use such language.
