After seeing her Instagram-famous puppy being repeatedly kicked in the ribs at a well-known dog park, a fashion designer has urgently issued a warning to dog owners.
The creator of the clothing line Couture Love Madness, Cristina Tridente, described being “terrified” when a mysterious guy attacked her golden dog, Hercules.
On a Saturday afternoon in Robe Terrace, in Adelaide’s north, she was strolling the cute seven-month-old when the horrifying act of animal cruelty happened.
The horrified fashionista said that Hercules cowered beneath his knees when he was playing with the attacker’s dog.
According to Ms. Tridente, “The owner started kicking him with vigour, in the ribs.”
“He did this again as I was running over, and when I asked him a question, he grabbed Hercy by the collar and would not let go.”
The designer started to scream in the hopes that another dog owner would rescue her as the guy showed no indication of letting her animal go.
She said on social media, “I had to wrestle the grasp off him to get Hercy free.”
He repeatedly yelled at me, saying that because of my stature, “people like me cause dogs to be wounded.”
It was “horrifying,” according to Ms. Tridente, to see her cherished pet being stomped in the belly.
She swiftly left the park, but not before warning dog owners about what had transpired and urging them to be cautious in person and on social media.
The designer claimed the guy was dressed in blue jeans and “flashy” sunglasses, and that he was in his 50s, with a thin physique and short brown hair.
The event, according to Ms. Tridente, was especially painful since the guy refused to release Hercules despite her frantic pleadings.
All I want is for other owners to be informed. I visit there often; it’s a great location with plenty of kind people and dogs around, she remarked.
The incident has been reported to South Australian Police, according to Ms. Tridente.
