The event, which took place in Oye-Ekiti, began on Friday, June 9, with the ambitious goal of cooking continuously for 120 hours.

On Wednesday morning, amidst both jubilation and criticism, Adeparusi successfully achieved her target of 120 hours of non-stop cooking.

It was revealed that she did not seek the approval of the Guinness World Records before commencing the cook-A-Thon, as there are specific procedures and rules that would have been provided to her.

In response to this revelation, Chef Dammy took to her Facebook page to clarify that her intention was not to break any records but to test her own capabilities.

She expressed her excitement at achieving her target and emphasized her determination to persevere throughout the cooking marathon.

According to Madalyn Bielfeld, the PR manager of the Guinness World Records, the organization has received Dammy’s application and will guide her through the process of submitting her evidence.
