Since this morning’s confirmation that rapper PnB Rock had died after being shot during a robbery, the entertainment industry has been inundated with condolences.
The heist occurred while the 30-year-old rapper, whose real name was Rakim Hasheem Allen, was dining at Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles in Los Angeles, California.
Rock is the most recent rapper to be murdered in the United States. His death occurred after those of Pop Smoke in 2020, Nipsey Hussle in 2019, and XXXtentacion in 2018.
Others criticized Rock’s girlfriend, designer and influencer Stephanie Sibounheuang, for broadcasting their whereabouts on Instagram Stories soon before he was shot.
Nicki Minaj, a rapper, stated: “After Pop Smoke, there’s no way we as musicians or our loved ones will continue to post our locations.”

Later, Minaj posted a number of tweets, including one in which she urged artists’ teams to protect and educate their members about such hazards.

Offset, formerly of the group Migos, was another musician who turned to Twitter to express his prayers. “Pray for pnb rock… the man has a wife and children smh God bless the man!”

Online images of a wounded Rock laying in a pool of blood have sparked worldwide outrage.
