Newly Wedded Spears and Sam Granted a Restraining Order against Her Former Husband Alexander

Britney Spears and her new husband, Sam Asghari, have gotten a restraining order against Britney’s ex-husband Jason Alexander, who attempted to crash their wedding while ‘armed with a knife’ before being captured and detained.

On Thursday afternoon, Alexander, 40 years old, posted a video to Instagram of himself running down hillside pathways, tussling with security guards outside the star’s Thousand Oaks house, and screaming, “I’m Jason Alexander.” The first husband. ‘I’m here to crash the wedding.’

He then stormed into the bridal tent, saying, “She’s my first wife, she’s my only wife,” few hours before Spears’ wedding.

After a brawl with Britney’s security officers, Alexander was wrestled to the ground and charged with trespassing, vandalism, and two batteries. He was subsequently arrested and taken to the jail, where he remains today.

Despite the dramatic turn of events, Spears and Asghari’s wedding went on but now it’s been revealed that the newlyweds have been issued a restraining order against Alexander, requiring him to stay at least 100 yards away from both of them, and also the popstar’s $7 million house.

According to Page Six, the order also alleges that Alexander, who is from Louisiana, was ‘armed with a knife’ when he intruded into Spears’ property, claiming that he has ‘continuously trespassed’ in the before and that he was forewarned that he was ‘not welcome’ to attend the wedding.

Alexander remains detained, according to Spears’ lawyer Mathew Rosengart, who was a guest at her wedding. He also confirmed that a restraining order had been given to his client.

He said, “Fortunately, Alexander is incarcerated and under an emergency protective order.”

He added that he ‘looks forward to working with law enforcement to ensure Alexander is aggressively prosecuted and hopefully convicted, as he should be’. ‘This was an outrageous security breach, which I am livid about, but fortunately Britney is safe, and she was a stunning and happy bride,’ he continued.

Alexander is currently in the custody of the Ventura Sheriff’s Department. Alexander married childhood buddy Spears, 40, in Las Vegas in 2004 before the marriage was dissolved 55 hours later.

His arrest, however, came only after he managed to livestream himself breaking into Spears’ home.

The 40-year-old was able to access the house by jumpng a fence, descended a rough hillside, and sneaked into the wedding location.

‘Britney is shaken but doesn’t want to let it get her down,’ a source told Page Six shortly after the crash. Thankfully, everyone is secure, and Jason is no longer on the premises.’

Alexander has been arrested three times in the last 13 months. He also has a felony warrant for larceny in another county, according to police sources.

In January 2021, he was arrested for driving under the influence and in August, he was arrested for violating airport security measures. Alexander had previously been arrested in December 2021 for breaking an order of protection and stalking an unidentified lady.
